We are sad to report that there has been a major earthquake in our city.
To the best of our knowledge, all bar staff are safe.
The Central City is cordoned off and buildings have been extensively damaged. The current condition of Als Bar building is unknown. We will update this as information comes to hand.
At this time, All Gigs Are Cancelled until further notice.

Welcome to Al's Bar - the home of 'live' music
Located on the fringe of central city Christchurch and owned and operated by local musician Al Park, Al's features local, national and International musicians 4 nights a week.The Bar is housed in a building of brick walls, Rimu Floors and an amazing Sawtooth wooden roofline. The bar itself is solid Rimu and offers a wide range of New Zealand and imported beers, wines and spirits.
A small bar snack menu is available at all times.
Al's Bar is free to hire for Private and Corporate Functions and have a fully equipped kitchen.
